I'm not very active these days, I seem to have gotten a Life :)

Right now my main project is Ardour, a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) originally for Linux but now also available for macos or windows. I also work on Ubuntu Studio, A Linux Distribution for artistic creation. Ubuntu Studio is an official flavour of Ubuntu dedicated to those who create Graphics, Photographs, Books, Videos or Audio.

Here is some software I am working on right now:

And some Hardware.

Other stuff includes a Mandocello.

I have a small home music studio in which I record music for the fun of it. It is not a business. I play Bass, Guitar and Drums, though my Drumming skills are sadly unpracticed.

My training is Broadcast Electronics, but I have spent most of my working career as an industrial electronics tech with some mechanical maintenance as well.

I have created and run BBS systems before the Internet was around, ran an Internet server for friends websites. This is what is left of that. The last time I moved I had to stop service for too long and so I had them all move elsewhere. So this is now a family server.

I haved used Computers from the Synclair, The Atari Mega, a 286 with DRdos, then OS/2 and Linux since the early 90s. I learned machine code in school on PDP8s and BASIC on the mainframe. Since then I have learned c, tcl/tk, perl and am now doing some python. Even though tk and python think in object oriented ways, I have not really enjoyed c++ and all the libs that go with it.
