Christmas

I must not have taken many pictures this year...

Mark and Tim are ready to open things Christmas Eve.

Because of work schedules we decided to split our Christmas over both days. I had envisioned doing socks first, but the boys wanted to open three gifts Christmas eve so that is what we did.

Mark has his new lunch box that he wanted...

Tim seems have been gifted with a box (boxes are so much fun).

Boxes are so fun Tim decides to play with it.

Ah, it seems he is going to open the box.

And there is something inside that looks good to him.

Ah yes, it's a...

Ha!, you thought this was going to be Tim... Mark has found a new electric tooth brush

Hey, this is just what I wanted!

Hmm, Blink for a second and Tim has moved on.

A game controller that allows two people to play at the same time.

Mark has his own clock so he doesn't have to use Tim's.

And on to something else.

The next day after work...

We are finally getting to the socks.

Mello watches...

Tim is a champion and Mark is going to fix things.

Mom reads the tag.

Tim has new pants (where am I going to put these?).

Tim thinks this is a good one.

Lego of course... this one is an interface between the digital world and the real world.

A new cooker... Can you install this please?

Mark is at an age where he enjoys new clothes.

Tim has lost interest in presents. This was the one he wanted.

Mark showing off his new shirt.

A gift from a friend.

Tim is still doing lego.

Mark has another T-shirt. Yup, that is the age where T-shirts start collecting.

Ok, so what is in that box?

It's a cell phone. So Mark can do things on his own and still have a lifeline.

Meanwhile, back in Tim Land...

Hang on, Tim seems to have noticed he has more things to open.

It is hard to take lots of pictures while being a part of the action. So there are a lot more things happening that are not shown here. We had a great time... All of us kids of whatever age. Tim was able to get his drone pretty stable, but it seems the right and left control are so unbalanced that it is not possible to hover in one spot. Mello seems to think it is something that needs to be chased. We do have one or two pictures of New Year's Eve... below.

According to Filipino custom, One should start the year with lots of fruit. I am guessing That is because there is lots of fruit there at the year's beginning. Not like here where we are at the beginning of winter.

Everyone sitting down to a New Year's Eve Lamb feast.
