While Laura spent a lot of time proving she is a great nurse at school, we did have some time to enjoy ourselves too. However, I can only find this one picture fromthe first of two camping trips.

This is the first one where we stayed in a campground at Parksville. It was on the bend of a shallow river and the rocks of the river bed were set up to make a great swimming hole with a water race flowing into it. One could take a tube to the top of this race and have a fast ride down. It was lots of fun.

Our second trip was to Sandy Island Marine Park in our boat. While we did kind of mangle our prop on day one, we still had a great time exploring new places.

This year Mark had cake. Yummmmy!

It was a special almond flour cake based on the same things we make his bread with.

Laura has a new tea cup (with teabag holder) for travel.

Len was taking pictures, at least so far as this camera is concerned. Laura may have some on her phone too (seen here on her lap). Laura, smart as she is, was very happy about finally working. She got Len 8 gifts, one for each year we have been married.

Lots more happened, I didn't take enough pictures to show very much.

All of my children. Louise and Jeffrey came to visit for the first time since they got married. A big welcome to the family once again.
